Now with 2 retail bakery locations and a full service brunch restaurant Its safe to say they have grown their offerings. Stop by either Auspicious location Wednesday through Sunday to satisfy all your sweet and savory cravings. Enjoy cafe seating as well as a delicious coffee menu in both Sandfly and Whitemarsh properties. Find Bread & Butter their newest brunch restaurant marsh side in their Whitemarsh location for fun shareable menu items and a creative bar menu. 8 years in business, you can still catch this husband and wife dou working the floor with the Auspicious team.
Before founding Auspicious Baking Company, Katie and Mark entered the kitchen as teenagers, Katie learning the pastry ropes at a fine dining restaurant, Mark making breakfasts in a small café up north. Several years and countless bakes later, the two stumbled upon Savannah on a road trip, fell head over heels for the city, and have been hurtling forward ever since. With a love of local food and the Savannah community, Katie and Mark have turned their hard work and passion into baked goods.
A few more years and thousands of pastries later, Auspicious Baking Co. serves you, our neighbors, in the best ways we can think of. Our favorite part of the week? Loading our shelves in a flurry of pastry flakes and powdered sugar, and watching as the community files in and clears out the entire shop. We wouldn't have things any other way.
From the first foodies who showed up at our doors in 2017, to the regulars who continue to stop by every Sunday morning and the out-of-towners who make it a point to snag our goodies during their brief visits, we're here because of you. To the end, we're committed to doing our best to keep spreading the love through pastries and pies, while keeping our community safe during these confusing and unprecedented times. We love you, Savannah.
